The purpose of the Preppers Meet is to empower Canadian citizens during disasters. Our goal is to create community leaders through skills, knowledge sharing and hands-on workshops in relation to all things connected to survival, preparedness, bushcraft and ancient/primitive ways (respectively). We recognize that disasters could happen at any time. With that in mind our focus is to strengthen Canadian citizens by giving them the tools to confidently take on new challenges that come with disasters should they occur. It is through making Canadians better prepared that we all succeed.

Our forest setting offers Canadians a special opportunity to experience training, demonstrations and activities that simply can't be obtained through a classroom environment. Being outdoors also gives participants a chance to challenge their personal preparedness and limitations in many respects. This is something we certainly encourage as it allows for opportunities to grow. Our family-oriented approach ensures that everyone is included and welcome to attend and participate.

Our long term mission is to establish this event as being Canada's premiere survival training weekend. We will accomplish this by bringing together our countries best survival experts and continue to challenge ourselves physically and mentally while earning the respect of others.
