Immediately after graduating high school Tell enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces where he served as an Armoured Reconnaissance Crewman. In the military Tell received training in fields like armed and unarmed combat, emergency first-aid, offensive driving, extreme cold weather survival, arctic warfare, escape and evasion among many others. After leaving the military tell attended both college and university studying in policing, criminology and private investigation. In the private sector Tell has worked in the protection and logistics fields. Tell is a licenced hunter, trapper and fisherman who strongly believes in conservation and ethical harvesting. Many times over the years Tell has served as a range officer, taught firearms handling and marksmanship. Tell spent much of his life training in advanced hand-to-hand combat and is an accomplished martial artists. Tell brings with him a variety of skills that span the spectrum from primitive to practical.
